 ARTIST’S DESCRIPTION

 The painting is inspired by a powerful writer, author of “Women Who Run With The Wolves” Clarissa Pinkola Estés: The mirroring of an often chaotic, liberating personal metamorphosis I was undergoing, from the “good girl” to the Wild Woman, Divine Goddess, Feminine energy I explore in myself through my artistic expression.

The highly textural effects, distinctly sensual feminine forms rendered in earth tones, visible brush strokes, strong contrasts in light and shadows, the use of metallic gold, paint drips, each enhance the erotic theme of the series creating an atmospherically vintage Hecatine vibe.

HER WILD WAYS is part of the WARRIOR TO MY GODDESS series created early 2023 during my travels between Rome, Italy, and Brisbane, Australia. This piece marks a deeply transformative stage in my work.
